pop forecast: fall tv

with the recent announcements of fall tv lineups, here’s a forecast of the must-see shows everyone will be buzzing about.  so set those dvrs, grab your favorite bag of popchips and make a date with your couch this fall:

the mindy project on fox. the office’s hilarious and smart mindy kaling plays a “bridget jones-like obgyn” looking for love.  (love it already!) check out the trailer and mindy’s diary of her experience at upfronts:

revolution on nbc: from the mind of jj abrams, comes a post apocalyptic view of a world where electricity mysteriously disappears.  but in true abrams form, nothing is as it seems.

glee lands major star power with both kate hudson and sarah jessica parker joining the show for story arcs this fall.

on the x factor, pop powerhouse britney spears joins teen sensation demi lovato, as a new judge, with britney even slated to perform several times during the season.

our president of pop culture’s very popular show, two and a half men makes its move to thursday nights at 8:30 on cbs.

pop goes country: abc’s nashville pits connie britton, an aging country star against new pop crossover hayden pannetierre in this promising one hour drama.
